Christmas is but a distant memory but life has been anything but dull!
With about 125 days to go, the reality has kicked in as we know that once that final payment is made the countdown speeds up even more. We are now in the midst of signing up for private tours with our good friends from the 2011 World Cruise, with a mix of just “walk off and wander” and also Princess official tours.
The great news (for us) is that we now know so many people from previous cruises, (with the latest additions being M & M from nearby Takapuna), that we are guaranteed lots of laughs and brilliant company – who could ask for more? Prices have also dropped since we first booked, so that is a nice bonus.
When we look at the cruise timings, with so many ports on a condensed period of time, I really don’t know how successful this blog is going to be, but I do promise to try!
With an overnight stop in Venice, I am also hopeful that some UK based family members might just be able to catch up with us. So we now have just on four months to get back to full fitness, but that is another story...
